Myreside Management Ltd supplies and installs their Water Leak Protection System, which detects water leaks, sounds the alarm and automatically cuts off the cold water mains supply to the property and it can even notify you of the problem via the telephone landline or mobile network.
This is a video of an actual leak in an Edinburgh flat in a development which we manage. This resulted in a £10,000 insurance claim for damage and alternative accommodation.
Lowering Premiums
Insurance claims for water damage are the highest of all, and nobody is exempt from this, it can happen at any time. The washing machine, or hose connections can malfunction, the ballcock valves in the tanks can puncture, or malfunction, you never know when it can happen.
